Brooklyn Flea…Cold

We got it right this time, and headed over to Fort Greene earlier this afternoon. The Flea was buzzing given the chilly weather, but I didn’t see many transactions. More hands in pockets vs. wallets. Come the real spring, this is going to be one crowded affair.
I’m listening to Beirut, courtesy of Sarah who made me a copy on decorated CD last year. It’s a perfect Beirut sort of day…languid, heady, hearty, and sausagey.
A couple more days until the company sponsored cruise. Yes, I’m going on a cruise. It hasn’t hit me yet either. I’m still agonizing some over the excessiveness of it all, and my lack of “resort wear”. I’d rather add to my wardrobe by spending at Etsy here and here. I’d also like to say, due to recent experience transacting with the owners of these shops, that these ladies know how to deliver great service. Etsy could definitely teach the telecommunication industry, airline industry and the New York City Transit Authority a thing or two.
PS – Etsy was also at the Flea.

Congratulations on the cruise!
One of my BI teammates, Neil, will be going as well.
Great photos! I love those glass seltzer bottles (especially the red one!). Not to be too bitchy (hell, it is Monday morning, even here in paradise) but those Brooklyn vendor girls on your blog look like they spent 3 hours on their hair that morning…
Thankity thanks.
They better have spent 3 hours on their hair, otherwise I quit being a girl.
