Because sometimes you want to be on vacation, even though you didn’t make plans, we decided to let indulgence take over this weekend. Hell yeah we went to Seize Sur Vingt and Unis to buy ridiculous expensive shirts. Ate/drank at Al Di La and Momofuko and Black Mountain and The Jake Walk (twice) and Bar Tabac and got a pint of Ben and Jerry’s and cannoli and the weekend isn’t over yet. Saw a flying fan, Esquire covers and turned black and white at the MoMA. Biked Prospect Park, Red Hook and the Brooklyn Bridge. Collapsed on the couch and drifted asleep to A Lisbon Story.
The perfect welcome home for my recently absentee husband.
This was totally one of those, “so what do you want to do next?” weekends. And the best thing, I didn’t wear a watch the entire time.
